There is no denying the fact that Internet and social media have become an indispensable part of our lives and be it common people or celebrities, politicians or cops, all are resorting to such sites to convey their thoughts to a large mass.
Recently we saw that Rajasthan Police came up with a great initiative to make people aware about crimes and laws by starting a quiz game “Kitna Bada Crime” (KBC) on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Their effort is indeed commendable and has received an overwhelming response by netizens.
However, it won’t be wrong to say that Mumbai Police is the king of Twitter as they have already been using the platform for spreading awareness among the citizens of the country and that too in a hilarious way. We often see them making the most of viral trends by creating unique and funny memes and thus giving a strong message to public.
Here we present a tweet made by Mumbai Police that is getting viral on the Internet. It contains a photo of a biker whose number plate is in the shape of batman symbol and he is waiting at the Juhu circle, Mumbai, for the lights to go green.
There are zebra crossings at traffic lights so that pedestrians can cross road when lights are red. The vehicles are required to stop behind the zebra crossing as per the traffic rule and it is also necessary so that pedestrians can walk on the zebra crossing. However many times, we have seen that people stop their vehicles after passing the zebra crossing.
The biker in the photo is also doing the same and Mumbai police has trolled him by making a sarcastic tweet. As his number plate shows the batman symbol, Mumbai police has made fun of him by saying that a joker who is pretending to be batman has been spotted.
They shared the image with caption, “Spotted – A joker pretending to be batman at Juhu Circle #LetsGetSerious” while the text written on the pic is “Batman must return behind the zebra crossing #LetsGetSerious”.
Check out the tweet:

Twitter also trolled the biker and this is how people reacted:
Don't disrespect the joker with this clown. If there was indeed someone as the joker nobody would be able to contain him.
Man in the pic is a clown not the joker. He is nowhere close to an agent of chaos.

Hope this is the start of a campaign to keep zebra lines free for pedestrians. #LetsGetSerious

May be in the year 2050 people in India will understand to stay behind the zebra crossing when the "STOP" Signal is on.
