If losing some kilos from your body is your aim but you tend to wander from your path every now and then, you need an inspiring story to keep you motivated. We are going to tell you about one such weight-loss journey of a 25 years old girl named Laura Micetich, a girl who is a freak when it comes to health and fitness!
Few years ago, she weighed 136 kg and looked like this:
And this is how she currently looks like when she is about 75-80 kg:
Obesity comes with diseases and Laura used to suffer with hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure and pre-diabetes at that time. When she was not able to bear with it, she decided to go for a weight-loss surgery. However, she was needed to work a little on her body, even if she wanted to go under knife. She joined the local gym and found her love for weight lifting and effect was soon visible.
Gymming with healthy eating helped her lose 100 lbs (45 kg) in the first year, here is how she looked after losing 100 lbs.
“I started by going to the gym, lifting weights and eating a clean diet tailored to my body’s needs. It only took a few weeks for me to realize that I didn’t need to go under the knife. I needed to get under the bar.”
The gym became a favourite place of Laura and the good part is that her skin did not become flabby after weight loss, the reason being her correct work-out regime. Soon she started looking quite different but she never misses her work-out regime.

She also focused on her diet other than her work-out as she says,
“I just adjusted my diet. I ate lots of clean foods and removed all starches and processed sugars. I stopped eating out. I stopped getting takeout. I stopped buying junk at the grocery store. I stopped having alcoholic drinks with friends. I stopped binging on crap. That was it.”
Nowadays, she is a completely new person weighing 75-80 kg, far lighter than what she used to weigh some years ago.
