It is opposition’s job to criticize the government if the latter is fulfilling its promises but what will Prime Minister Narendra Modi do when his own ministers start accepting that they made false promises to come in power?
Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has created a controversy by saying that their party told them to make tall promises as they didn’t expect to win the elections. However, now when they have come in power so when people remind them of their promises with dates on which those promise were made, they just laugh and move on.
The minister gave this statement in a Marathi reality show “Assal Pavhane, Irsal Namune” that was telecasted on Colors on 4th and 5th October. The title of the first part was “When politics meet cinema” and the second part was entitled as “Comic banter between Nana and Nitin”.
Congress didn’t miss the chance to share this video on the micro-blogging site Twitter and the caption that they wrote is,
“Good to see Union Minister nitin_gadkari concurring with our view that the Modi Govt was built on jumlas and fake promises.”
